They’ve scheduled eight events throughout the summer at Southland off-leash park in the SE and Bowmont Park in the NW and I get to hang with them and take photos of the participants. All money raised goes directly to the Humane Society.

The next event is scheduled at Bowmont Park on Saturday, June 19th.

Sasha was super perky pup who basically owned the bench at the back of our daycare. She would get extremely excited to see her owners at leaving time and I got in the habit of catching her in the middle of either her first or second jump (the first if I was fast enough) at the gate prior to putting on her leash and sending her home for the day.

Sasha started coming immediately after our Christmas photo shoot last year and was a regular Wednesday attendant. She had extremely loving owners and my thoughts continue to be with them. Sasha will be greatly missed.

We were able to catch him on a good day following him around the house and outdoors. We captured what I think was a beautiful range of moments with Charlie alone and with his family.

Charlie passed away recently and my thoughts are with Danielle and her family. I can’t say how much I appreciate being part of the experience. It brings back how much I miss our dog Holly but know that they both had the best lives we could provide.

No more shorts for me, at least not until the next heat wave. It’s pants for the next 6 months.

I have a lot of things planned over the next few months:

•	I’ve hired a personal assistant
•	I’m working on my second retailer/distributor to help grow my convenience shopping service begun to offer additional services to my dog daycare clients
•	We’re working on this year’s schedule for our Mini-Studio sessions (more info to follow)
•	I’m consulting with a group of extremely talented people to see if an idea for a “pet network” is a viable idea and if so, if it’s something that we can get off the ground
•	Lots of additional photos have been added to my Getty Images Flickr collection so people around the world can license a selection of my images
•	And finally, full steam ahead with my regular studio/location sessions. With Calgary’s unique weather I hope to be able to take advantage of the fall colours more this year than last.
